Etiquette and Community Guidelines

The w2wlink.com networking circles are a free feature of membership in the w2wlink community. They are for your benefit to share advice, interests, ideas and engage in supportive and encouraging discussions about challenges of professional women in times of growth.

We have a few simple etiquette guidelines intended to help w2wlink.com members enjoy and build an atmosphere that is conducive to having the most positive and valuable w2wlink community experience.

Please participate.  A good community is a community of active members. Try to make at least one comment per week.  Due to the small intimate size of networking circles that have been so carefully matched to the interests and goals of the members, and for the strength and progress of the peer group discussions, it is important that each member participate.

If you find that you are unable to actively participate, then we would ask that you place your membership in the group on hold by emailing CircleChange@w2wlink.com.  You can request to be placed into another group later.

When you interact, please:

Feel free to share advice, opinions and ideas. The strongest peer group participation is to share from your experiences and real life wisdom.  We ask that you avoid criticizing others. Respect that everyone has a right to their opinion and agree to disagree as appropriate. (We reserve the right to remove posts that we deem to be disparaging – that would include of course any comments falling under the guise of vulgar, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or in violation of any laws. If you have a concern that you need to communicate to us at w2wlink directly, please email NetworkCircle@w2wlink.com.

Use lower case type as all upper case conveys shouting.

Post a comment once. No duplicate or repeat posting.

Network.  Networking and business development activity are encouraged. Take part in the w2wlink networking circle discussions with appropriate information about your company.  Advertising is not appropriate.

Please try to keep discussions a reasonable length. Break up long discussions as new ideas are presented, or use headings to make the discussion clearer since time is especially important to our membership of busy professional women who do not usually have time to go back many pages for a continuing discussion.

Share resumes, names and information as you build relationships and trust over time. Use your discretion in posting your personal address or phone number. Although w2wlink.com networking circles are private groups we must advise that if you post your personal address and telephone number, you do so at your own discretion and responsibility.

Note that opinions expressed by members of the networking circles are not necessarily those of w2wlink.com and w2wlink does not guarantee the accuracy of statements posted in networking circles, and that includes any content presented on other sites that from which posted links may lead.

w2wlink.com reserves the right to prohibit or delete messages that are thought to violate applicable law or that may be harmful or hurtful to others. w2wlink.com does not have the ability to restrict conduct or communications that might violate w2wlink guidelines prior to transmission on the Internet, nor can we assure prompt removal of offending message posts or links to offensive sites. We will do our best to enforce these guidelines and request your full cooperation in following them and in reporting concerns as needed.

See w2wlink.com Terms and Conditions.

If you wish to change networking circles or deactivate your membership, please email CircleChange@w2wlink.com. Please not that all posts containing your name will remain on the board, but your account will be locked and you will not be able to post any further messages.

Please note that guidelines are subject to change without notice. Please review our etiquette and terms and conditions often.

Have a great time and enjoy your membership in the w2wlink.com community!
