w2wlink, the premier professional women community, announces its fourth annual Ascendancy Awards for Business Women. The awards will go to outstanding women who have "ascended" to achieve and innovate in Corporate, in Entrepreneurial and in Career Transition settings.

w2wlink initiated the Ascendancy Awards to recognize, reward and inspire women to maximize their potential in their careers. Lisbeth McNabb, Founder and CEO of w2wlink said, "Women are seeing the awards as inspiring for promoting the ascending of women to the top levels. Truly, we all have had help getting to where we are today. These awards highlight those who have succeeded and are giving forward which is essential for women to maximize their potential.”

w2wlink is accepting nominations for candidates from eight city areas: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Houston, L.A. area, New York City, and Washington D.C area. They are also accepting nominations for at-large candidates from any other city. A winner from each category--Corporate Board, Corporate, Entrepreneur, and Career Transition--will be chosen from the nominees from each city and from the at-large category. From these 36 winners, an executive women advisory board will select four National Winners.

In addition to recognition, the National Winners and City Winners will receive a business club membership from ClubCorp, and the events will have prizes from partners including ClubCorp, Bloom.com, Hail Merry Snacks and PR Newswire. A full list of sponsors will be available in early 2012.

Winners will be announced in April, and celebrations in cities are scheduled April through October 2012. Visit www.w2wlink.com to RSVP and attend. Nominations and applications are available online at www.w2wlink.com/events-seminars and via email at womenawards@w2wlink.com through January 31, 2012.
