Every year FORTUNE’s publishes their 50 Most Powerful Women in Business. For 2008, some of the names were predictable. For example, Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo. She’s held the top spot for three consecutive years. Irene Rosenfeld, chairman and CEO of Kraft Foods has moved up from number five to number two. The list is an exciting commentary on the “place” of women in our society, and we are very interested to see the upcoming rankings for 2009 (coming this fall).
